A Review of Real Estate Fund Behaviour following the EU Referendum - Discussion Forum

AREF hosted
Thursday 30 March 2017

Following the result of the EU Referendum in June last year, and the resultant impacts on many of the open-ended real estate funds available to retail investors, we commissioned John Forbes Consulting to undertake an independent review of the impact of the result on real estate funds, and to evaluate whether any improvements could be made to deal with market shocks in the future.  The review aims to assess the impact not only on clients but on the market as a whole, including: fund distributors, managers, valuers and other service providers.

Following an extensive period of consultation with the real estate industry, John will present the key findings from the review following which attendees will be invited to discuss and provide feedback on the report in round table discussions. This will be used to further refine the report and further events may be held dependant on demand.
