The Technology & Innovation Forum
The Forum meets 3 or 4 times a year to hear from experts in the field of technology and data initiatives in the real estate sector. Its members advise AREF on its technology and data themed events. It works closely with IA Engine to highlight the work of PropTechs and FinTechs and the RED Foundation in encouraging improvements in data standards within the real estate industry.
If there are any issues members would like the Technology & Innovations Forum to consider, please e-mail us at: email@example.com.
Engine - the IA's FinTech Hub
AREF are proud to work in collaboration with Engine, the Investment Association's FinTech hub and accelerator for the buy-side.
They work with over 150 FinTech firms that have solutions applicable across the value chain and help them to promote their offerings to the investment management industry. PropTech is a growing area of focus for the hub and Engine are now actively working with multiple PropTech providers.
The directory below is hosted by Engine and allows you to filter through a wide range of solution providers.

AREF is proud to support The RED Foundation
The RED Foundation is an initiative set up to ensure the real estate sector benefits from an increased use of data, avoids some of the risks that this presents and is better placed to serve society.
They do this in two primary ways:
Connecting people, projects and initiatives around the topic of data in the built environment
Raising the sectors engagement with the ethical challenges that the use of data can present
The Red Foundation aim to act impartially, objectively and openly. We are focused on the application of data across the whole real estate sector and built environment and strive to avoid reinventing wheels.
For more information, visit the Red Foundation website by clicking here. We also encourage anyone with an active interest in data to join the RED Foundation LinkedIn Group, to share your thoughts, observations and activity on this subject.

The event will include a line of up real estate tech-expert speakers, an interactive panel session as well as two minute power pitches from three innovative FinTech firms.
This event will be held in person at Osborne Clarkes offices on London Wall. In the event of another lockdown we will aim to host this event virtually.
