The Technology & Innovation Forum
The Forum meets 3 or 4 times a year to hear from experts in the field of technology and data initiatives in the real estate sector. Its members advise AREF on its technology and data themed events. It works closely with IA Engine to highlight the work of PropTechs and FinTechs and the RED Foundation in encouraging improvements in data standards within the real estate industry.
If there are any issues members would like the Technology & Innovations Forum to consider, please e-mail us at: info@aref.org.uk.

AREF is proud to support The RED Foundation

The RED Foundation is an initiative set up to ensure the real estate sector benefits from an increased use of data, avoids some of the risks that this presents and is better placed to serve society.
They do this in two primary ways:
-
Connecting people, projects and initiatives around the topic of data in the built environment
-
Raising the sectors engagement with the ethical challenges that the use of data can present
The Red Foundation aim to act impartially, objectively and openly. We are focused on the application of data across the whole real estate sector and built environment and strive to avoid reinventing wheels.
For more information, visit the Red Foundation website by clicking here. We also encourage anyone with an active interest in data to join the RED Foundation LinkedIn Group, to share your thoughts, observations and activity on this subject.
