Consultation on calculation methodology change and inclusion criteria for MSCI/AREF UK Quarterly Property Fund Index

Thursday 29th April 2021

Click to view materials from this event including a summary of the points discussed.

MSCI recently launched two consultations in relation to the MSCI/AREF UK Quarterly Property Fund Index: 'On the implementation of the Time-Weighted Return Methodology' and 'Changes to the inclusion criteria'.

The introduction of the proposed calculation methodology and index eligibility criteria will impact the return calculation, index composition and the data collection for all clients using MSCI/AREF UK Quarterly Property Fund Index or those providing data.

AREF are holding this roundtable for members to question MSCI about these proposals and then share their views to assist firms in formulating their own responses to the consultations.

If you are unable to join this event and wish to provide feedback on the consultations please email Info@aref.org.uk
