Following on from our recent webinar delivered in partnership with Yardi, we are pleased to share details of a new series of interactive webinars being delivered by UCL Centre for Sustainable Real Estate (CSRI), in collaboration with Acuity Data.
The series examines how senior real estate leaders can evaluate AI opportunities, risks and governance, equipping them with practical frameworks to make confident, informed decisions about adoption.
About the Session - Is AI a Bubble or an Opportunity?
AI investment and experimentation are accelerating across the sector. Yet many organisations are still grappling with a fundamental question: does current momentum represent genuine strategic opportunity or market over-exuberance?
This interactive panel discussion offers a grounded exploration of where AI is delivering measurable business value, and where caution is warranted.
Drawing on UCL research and real-world industry experience, the session will provide a practical framework to help leaders assess AI initiatives with clarity and rigour.
Key questions that will be explored:
- Is the current AI surge justified, or are we in a bubble?
- Where is AI delivering demonstrable ROI today?
- How can organisations distinguish credible solutions from over-marketed offerings?
- Risks of investing too early versus waiting too long
- What leaders should be doing now: invest, experiment, or wait
