CRREM Analysis Roundtable for AREF Members
View post-event materials here.
The Carbon Risk in Real Estate (CRREM) tool has become key to how Commercial Real Estate defines climate risk exposure and the decarbonisation journey. The tool provides useful outputs which can inform strategy and investment risk. However, as CRREM flexibly supports multiple approaches to these risks and strategies, the ways it can be used is not well defined and open to interpretation.
The AREF ESG and Impact Investing Committee is convening a roundtable of sustainability pracitioners who actively use the tool to agree on common approach to how it should be used to assess and communicate risks, carbon reduction pathways and other approaches to managing the transition to the net zero economy.
