Investor event: Diversity and Inclusion

Wednesday 15th September 2021

Our investor members are invited to our webinar to consider two highly topical issues from leading commentators.

The funds sector can deliver the best results for investors and other stakeholders and reflect social norms by being truly diverse and inclusive. Our webinar considers these issues from perspective of indirect real estate investors and consultants. How can we facilitate  and measure progress on D&I issues?

This webinar is open to AREF Investor members only (by this we mean indirect investors only, rather than those investing in direct property). This event is run in association with the Real Estate Investors' Forum (REIF) and PropertyMatch.

Register now to avoid disappointment as places are limited.

Confirmed speakers:

  • Welcome and housekeeping: Sam Witham, Unlisted Real Estate Fund Secondaries Broker at PropertyMatch
  • Moderator: Melville Rodrigues, Head of Real Estate Advisory, Apex Group & REIF Co-ordinator
  • Speaker: Helen Price, Stewardship Manager at Brunel Pension Partnership, will explain the goals of the Asset Owner Diversity Charter and opportunities for collaboration with fund management organisations.
  • Speaker: Nileena Premchand, Chair of the AREF D&I Taskforce Senior Associate at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, will discuss the AREF D&I Taskforce plans with a focus on AREF Investor Members
