We have lots of events coming up in June, including our Summer Drinks Reception, lots of topical ESG related events and the next breakfast in our Residential series, this time looking at planning. Be sure to book yourself a space.

There are many public policy consultations that are of interest to the real estate fund sector at present, including the one for the new proposed fund offering, the Reserved Investor Fund.

AREF Committee Day 2023
On 10th May we held the AREF Committee Day 2023, kindly hosted at Hogan Lovell's office 'Atlantic House'. The Committee Day is an opportunity for those most involved with AREF to come together to share ideas, committee activity and discuss our strategy for the year ahead. We have successfully implemented many of the ideas that came from previous years. Output from the day will be available to committee members over the next couple of weeks.

AREF encourages members to respond to Reserved Investor Fund consultation
|
|
An important gap in the UK’s fund offering will be plugged by the government proceeding with a legislative framework proposed in its 27 April 2023 consultation on the Reserved Investor Fund (RIF).
A whole spectrum of managers, from SMEs to larger firms, will be able to take advantage of the RIF as will, importantly, their investors.
