Paul Richards attended UKREiiF this week, where local authorities, developers and investors come together to discuss ways forward for the major issues facing real estate and the built environment.
There were some great events, all standing room only, and he met up with members whilst there. One event which did stand out was an excellent panel discussion hosted by Related Argent featuring “Rest is Politics” podcast duo Alastair Campbell and Rory Stewart, which discussed the challenges and opportunities faced by local government in housing and development. Some great questions and insights into National, regional and local politics, future of development, planning, housing, growth and public trust.
