HM Treasury and the UK Statistics Authority are currently consulting on reforms to the Retail Prices Index methodology.  In Section 6 of the consultation, they have asked to be informed of the impact the proposed changes may have in areas or contracts where RPI is used.  

We are interested in hearing how these proposed reforms will affect our members so we can provide a response to the consultation on our members behalf. Please email Jacqui Bungay (jbungay@aref.org.uk) with your comments by 9 April.

We would encourage firms who are affected by these proposals to respond direct to the consultation too. The deadline for responses is 22 April.
