Peter Hobbs is Managing Director of Private Markets and a member of the Senior Management Team. His division covers Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity and Private Debt, providing a range of services including portfolio design, manager selection and due diligence. Peter has over 30 years of both principal investing and research experience.

Before BFinance Peter worked at MSCI where he was Managing Director for Real Estate Research and Key Global Accounts, responsible for benchmarking and portfolio analysis, risk services and method development. Prior to this, Peter held various senior global research and business development roles with IPD and RREEF – the alternatives asset management division of Deutsche Bank.

With over 25 years of real estate experience, Peter is a leading expert in the sector, covering all stages of the investment process including valuation, portfolio management and investment strategy. Peter also has significant experience in real asset research, risk management, as well as organizational growth and change for companies.

Kim joined Fidelity International in March 2018 after 12 years leading the European research department at Invesco Real Estate. Prior to this, Kim was a director of the research department at Atisreal Ltd (now BNP Paribas Real Estate).

With over 25 years’ experience, Kim began her career as a site researcher for Tesco before moving to Weatherall Green & Smith (which became Atisreal) as a senior research analyst. Here she was first promoted to associate director and then to director – research.

At Fidelity, Kim is responsible for strategically leading and managing the research function.

Kim has an MSc in Econometrics & Forecasting from London Metropolitan University and an MA in Geography from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Melville's practice focuses on the launch and operation of funds, including funds which hold underlying real estate investments in the UK as well as internationally. The funds have attracted institutional, private and retail investors.

In addition to servicing clients, he has been involved in representing industry bodies in their dialogue with the Treasury and the FCA. He is a regular contributor to the real estate press.
