We are delighted to announce those shortlisted for the AREF Awards 2022.

Each year the Association gives out a number of awards to recognise achievement and contribution by our members and others who support the work of AREF. The award winners will be announced at the AREF Annual Dinner and Awards on Tuesday 27th September, hosted at The Savoy Hotel. 

Congratulations to all those shortlisted! They are as follows:

Outstanding Individual Contribution:

  • Kasia Dziewulska, CBRE for her help in organising and chairing the Real Estate Around the Globe podcast series earlier this year; for her help with hosting the AREF Committee Day as well as being on the judging panel for the AREF Research Award for the last two years.
  • John Forbes, John Forbes Consulting for his all his work on the expense ratio guidance project this year and his continued help with drafting numerous consultations throughout the year.
  • Oliver Light, Carbon Intelligence for his work on ESG metrics project earlier this year; for his help with events and podcasts throughout the year; and for his contribution with the ESG Committee so far.
  • Melville Rodrigues, Apex Group for all his work on ESG metrics project earlier this year; his continued help pulling together quarterly investor events; and for his help in drafting numerous consultations throughout the year.
  • Ann Xu, CBRE Investment Management who sits on FutureGen Committee, ESG & Impact Investment Committee and D&I Taskforce. For her exemplary contributions to all these committees this year and throughout her involvement. She brings enthusiasm and energy, and has made a huge difference to each committee so far.

Affiliate of the Year:  

  • Aztec Group for their collaboration on the 'Fund Operations of Tomorrow' report and continued support with sponsorship for the Annual Dinner and other events throughout the year.  
  • Osborne Clark for their work and support in hosting the Tech event 'The role of climate tech in delivering real estate's net zero' and for their work with Code of Practice reviews.
  • Langham Hall for their work with Code of Practice reviews and Tom Pinnell’s continued help with FutureGen Committee.
  • CBRE for hosting the Committee Day in May, and for Kasia Dziewulska hosting the 'Real Estate Around the Globe' podcast series, Sam Carson's continued support of the ESG & Social Impact Committee and PropertyMatch's support of the quarterly events specifically aimed at Investors.

Clare is responsible for all aspects of the planning, development and execution of the marketing strategy for AREF. 

Clare leads on event management, liaising with committees and members to schedule, plan and deliver an effective events calendar for the association.  She also has overall responsibility for brand, as well as the design, development and production of marketing across both digital and offline channels, including the website.
