The safety and wellbeing of our staff and members is our highest priority. We are closely following UK government advice on Coronavirus, and our staff are all working from home.

All our meetings, events and in-person training courses are being postponed, held by video or telephone conference or reorganised. During these turbulent times we know that members depend on us to represent their views to regulators and policymakers and our work continues apace.

New! Information Hub and AREF Member Online Discussion Forum

AREF recognises that together, our members probably cover every angle of the real estate funds market. This is why, during the current Coronavirus outbreak, we would like to use our members’ collective expertise and extensive experience to share information and best practice across our industry, to help everyone address the challenges we all face at this difficult time.

We have therefore launched the following areas:

  • Online Information Hub - we invite all members to send us any industry insights, best practices, views and analysis, overriding policies and/or any other general information you consider may be valuable and that you are prepared to share with other members - we will post these in the Information Hub for all to view.  If you would like anything added to the Information Hub, please email Eve and Clare at [email protected]
  • AREF Member Online Discussion Forum - we encourage an open discussion in this online Forum around how the ongoing crisis is affecting our industry and a sharing of ideas on how the many issues arising can be tackled. Members will need to log-in to access the forum (click here to re-set your password).
We will continue to monitor the situation and will advise members accordingly in relation to other upcoming events.

For any queries relating to this, please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing [email protected].
