We are delighted to announce details of our first FutureGen Conference, proudly sponsored by Carey Olsen.

Open to FutureGen* staff at AREF member firms, (staff in the first 10 years of their career and/or not in senior management position), this unique 1.5 day conference will be held at Worcester College, University of Oxford.

The FutureGen Committee are busy planning the conference, which will include:

Provisional Agenda (ALL included in ticket price):
  • Keynote Speaker: Real Estate – how did we get here? 
  • Panel Discussion: ESG in Existing Buildings and achieving Net Zero
  • Lunch on the first day
  • Fireside Chat: A career in Real Estate
  • A choice of three Roundtables: Fund structuring & operations; asset management; and capital raising.
  • Networking activity outside the University
  • Dinner in Oxford
  • Site visits including the new Oxford Science Park.
  • Overnight accommodation at the University (wi-fi-connected, single en-suite bedrooms)
  • Breakfast on day two

  • Early Bird Discount Offer:  For a limited time only, FutureGen staff at AREF Member firms can purchase a ticket for £200+VAT.
  • Early Bird Discount applies to tickets booked and paid for by Friday 28th April. 
  • After this date, tickets revert to full price and open up to non-members: 
  • AREF Members £250+VAT
  • Non-Members £300+VAT
  • Tickets are limited to three tickets per firm (or subsidiary).
