We are delighted to announce we have launched our new online Self Certification platform.

Apologies to all fund members for the delay to the new online platform and matrix for 2019, we have been working hard to get this launched and COVID-19 unfortunately caused further delays.

Why the new system?

This system aims to streamline the self certification process for members year-on-year. Answers to the current self certification are saved and pre-populate the form for the following year. This means that members do not need to repeat the whole process each year.

How it works and what we need from you

  • The system requires two fund contacts from your fund – one is the ‘main contact for self certification’ (this is the person we usually speak to regarding self certification) and the second is the ‘approver’ (usually the fund manager).
  • To get started on the new system, AREF staff have transposed all the answers you submitted on your last Form/Template (2019) onto the new system for you.  However, we now require the ‘main contact’ to log-in and check the answers are correct and then the ‘approver’ to check and submit your entry back to AREF.
  • We have sent each fund member instructions on how to complete the process (these were emailed to the ‘main contact’ and ‘approver’ we have on file).  If you have not received the email, then please do let us know by emailing: code@aref.org.uk.

Timing

The deadline for completion is Friday 18th September 2020.

Once you have submitted your form the Self Certification Matrix on our website (link) will automatically publish your results.

For full instructions, please visit AREF Self Certification Process.

If you have any queries on the new process, please email Eve or Clare at code@aref.org.uk.
